The New Braunfels Public Library’s 2023 Summer Reading Program kicks off this Saturday, launching a summer’s worth of reading fun and activities. This year’s theme is “All Together Now,” which encourages residents to join with family, friends, and neighbors to not only catch up on reading this summer, but to attend library programs, visit local parks, write, do an art project, or try a new recipe. 

“We are so excited to bring another great lineup of programming to our community this summer,” said Library Youth Services Manager Jenny Rodriguez. “There’s one game card for all ages, so families are encouraged to participate together on the various activities!”

Printed versions of the Summer Reading Program game card can be found at:

• The New Braunfels Public Library - 700 East Common Street
• The Westside Community Center – 2932 South I-35 Frontage Road
• New Braunfels City Hall – 550 Landa St.
• Das Rec – 345 Landa St.

Each time you complete an activity from the list, mark it on the game card, and after you complete five activities, come to the library to pick up your first prize. Prize pickup starts June 20^th. After you complete 10 activities, you can pick up your second prize, and when you've completed the game card (a total of 24 activities) you will receive an entry for our grand prize drawing. Grand prize entries are accepted through Friday, Aug. 4^th.
