Come kick off the holiday season with us! Mayor Neal Linnartz will address the crowd at 6:30 p.m. where he will count down and flip the switch, turning on the dazzling display of lights downtown. After the lights are on, Santa Claus is scheduled to arrive on a New Braunfels Fire Department fire truck and make his way to the NBU parking lot where families will have a chance to have their photo taken with Santa. The Canyon High School Steel Drum Band will provide entertainment until 8:30 p.m.

Photos

Photos will take place at the NBU parking lot near Main Plaza. Photos are $10 each, with the proceeds benefitting the New Braunfels Parks Foundation. Please note that only credit card/debit card payments will be accepted, and no one will be allowed to enter the line after 8:30 p.m. (those already in line at 8:30 p.m. will still be served).

Shuttle

A free shuttle will be available from 5:30-9:30 p.m.  The shuttle will pick up riders at City Hall, 550 Landa Street, and drop off at West Mill Street.

Road Closures

Road closures will begin at 4:30 p.m. and reopen by 9:30 p.m. Click the map below to see a larger view of the event map.

Food

The New Braunfels Downtown Association will be selling hot chocolate, sausage on a stick, and other light snacks throughout the event. They will be located near the Bandstand on the South Seguin Avenue side of Main Plaza.
