Rentals & Party Packages
Schedule your next family or company event in one of the beautiful group picnic sites or covered pavilions. Park reservations may be made online, in person or by phone at the Parks Administrative Office (830) 221-4350, up to 18 months in advance. Payment is due in full at the time the reservation is made. Payments are accepted by check, cash, or VISA, Discover, MasterCard, or American Express. A 2.75% service fee will apply to all credit card transactions.

Landa Park
Reserving a pavilion, picnic area, volleyball court, or other amenity in Landa Park is easy! Reservation rates vary based on size of the location and amenities offered, but some begin as low as $55 for New Braunfels residents.

Parking is available on a first come first served basis and fills up quickly on summer weekends. Review the parking information before your visit to avoid parking violations.

Rental Policies
Individual Picnic Space Fees
Per Article 1. Sec. 86-2 of the City of New Braunfels Code of Ordinances, individual picnic spaces are available throughout the park system on a first come, first served basis. Park rangers will collect a $25 per picnic space fee in season, Easter weekend through the first weekend in October, in Landa Park, Fischer Park and Hinman Island Park. With proof of residency, citizens living inside the corporate city limits of New Braunfels will not be charged for the first picnic space. Picnic spaces include but are not limited to tables, chairs, blankets and/or canopies.
Cancellations/Refunds
- A full refund will be issued with a cancellation two weeks or more prior to the reservation date.
- March-September: A half refund will be issued if less than two weeks notice of cancellation is given.
- No refund will be provided if the renting party fails to show and no cancellation notice is received prior to the date of the reservation.
Inclement Weather Policy
Weather rain outs will be determined by Parks and Recreation Department staff. If a rain out is declared, the reservation holder may reschedule the site (at no fee) for a day within three months of the initial reservation date - provided the Parks office is notified within the first three working days after the original reservation.
Volleyball Court Reservations
The volleyball courts in Landa Park may be rented for exclusive usage. Companies or individuals picnicking in the park are encouraged to rent a court for a group activity. Volleyball courts #1 and #2 are located in Landa Park on Golf Course Road next to the Landa Park Aquatic Complex. Court #3 is located in Landa Park adjacent to picnic area #9 (no light at this location). . Volleyballs are not provided.

Das Rec Party Packages
Let Das Rec help make your next birthday party a blast with some exciting themed packages for our pool birthday parties!
Party options are currently available on weekends only with two 2-hour time slots available:
Time slots: 11:00am - 1:00pm or 2:30pm - 4:30pm

Fischer Park
Birthday Parties - Call 830-221-4378 for booking or to book a tour!
Choose from one of our themes to ignite your guests’ interest in the natural world. Available birthday party themes:
- Reptiles and Amphibians - Staff leads birthday party guests on a hike around the park to discover reptiles and amphibians in our area.
- Wildlife Habitats - Staff leads birthday party guests on a hike to different habitats in the park to see furs, bones, and other artifacts from animals in our area.
- Nature Navigators - Staff teaches birthday party guests how to use a compass and guides them on a scavenger hunt in the park.
Birthday party packages are $300 for two hours and include:
- Private use of the indoor Nature Education Center for up to 30 guests (tables and chairs provided)
- One-hour staff-led outdoor activity
Team Building Programs
Challenge your work team, organization, or a group of friends to these fun team building exercises in Fischer Park! Choose from the following options:
Navigation: Working in small groups, teams will learn how to use and read a compass. Using given coordinates, each team will be sent to a different starting location in the park to find clues that will lead them to their next location. Teams will gain pieces of a major clue that, in the end, will be combined with clues from the other teams in order to find their final meeting location. Fischer Park staff will determine the winning team.
Shelter Building: Teams will meet at the flagpole to take a short walk to the forest to build a shelter. The team will be given two items: a tarp and a length of rope. From there they will need to collect sticks, leaves, and other materials to build their shelter. At the end, as many team members as possible will fit in the shelter and have a bucket of water poured on top to see if they stay dry.
Archery: Teams will learn the basics of archery and have the opportunity to shoot multiple times with different targets. This program accommodates up to 10 archers at a time and can rotate between groups, if necessary.
Kayaking: Teams will learn the basics of kayaking and then will head out onto the pond where they are free to explore. This program accommodates up to 8 single-person kayaks.
Private Indoor Activity Room Rental
Hosting a meeting or small event? Book Fischer Park's climate-controlled indoor activity room with audio/visual equipment as well as tables and chairs for up to 30 people.
Garden Party Rental - $300 for two hours. Includes private use of Butterfly Garden and indoor Nature Education Center.
Make a splash at the Landa Park Aquatic Complex - host your next pool party with us! Pool parties are available only during the regular summer operating hours at the Landa Park Aquatics Complex (LPAC).
Party Packages

Private Rentals

- Olympic $200 100 guests (max 250)

Landa Haus Indoor Event Rental facility
This climate-controlled event facility accommodates up to 150 people, and comes complete with outdoor pavilion that overlooks Landa Lake.
Make plans to hold your family reunion, business meeting, wedding reception, seasonal party, or other special event at the Landa Haus, located in the heart of Landa Park, at 360 Aquatic Circle.
Reservations for Landa Haus are taken for dates up to 18 months in advance of the current date.
