New Braunfels Civil Service Commission
About
The City of New Braunfels follows Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code for civil service processes related to entry-level hiring, promotions, and seniority for both Fire and Police personnel. The Civil Service Commission oversees these processes. The Civil Service Commission consists of three members appointed by the municipality's chief executive and confirmed by the municipality's governing body. Members serve staggered three-year terms, with one member's term expiring each year.
