The City of New Braunfels has announced that the California Boulevard Project began the week of January 6th, 2020.
The scope of work includes; spot base repairs, roadway mill and overlay, sidewalk and ADA ramps from Loop 337 that ties into Landa Park by Gazebo Circle. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with flaggers during the mill and overlay portion of the project, as well as a road closure on California hill during that section of work. Construction is expected to last approximately six months.
The California Boulevard improvements are part of the 2019 Bond Citywide Street Improvement Program. Work is expected to be completed within the indicated times, weather and other factors permitting. Drivers should expect detours in the area and may wish to seek an alternate route.
