We need your input on the Draft Installments for the Land Development Ordinance.
Land development ordinances are a set of regulations, standards, and tools that describe what can be built where in New Braunfels. This update project will not only review and update the content of these ordinances, it will also combine them into one central document, with an internally consistent and logical organizational structure.
Drafts of the Zoning and Uses installment and the Development Standards installment are available for review by the public. Please leave your feedback using the resources below:

Zoning and Uses Module
A rough draft of the zoning module is still available for public review, input, suggestions, etc. Public workshops for in-person participation in further ordinance development were held on November 30 and December 1, 2022.

Development Standards Module
The second installment of the LDO project has been prepared for public review, input, and suggestions. The module covers Development Standards, which regulate how development in the community should look through building design, parking, landscaping, lot layout, and other standards. Public workshops for in-person discussion of the draft were held on October 24 and 25, 2023.
