This recreational basketball league teaches youth the basics of the game, skill development, teamwork and good sportsmanship. This is a great opportunity for your child to not only improve their skills but to meet new friends while promoting an active lifestyle. Each player receives a uniform; children must have sneakers with non-marking soles to participate. Season is 8 weeks long. One practice per week will be held any time between Monday-Thursday from 5pm-8pm determined at registration. League play is governed by TAAF and local league rules. Awards are given at the end of the season. *SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE*
Timeline
League 1
- Ages 5-8yrs: Starts on January 6th
- October 1st: Registration opens for Coaches
- Coaches can sign up to volunteer and get a discount on one kid per team that they coach
- November 4th 9:00am: Registration opens for everyone
- Teams will now have coaches assigned to them, and everyone can start registering for those teams
League 2
- Ages 9-12 yrs: Starts on March 24th
- January 2nd: Registration opens for Coaches
- Coaches can sign up to volunteer and get a discount on one kid per team they coach.
- February 3rd at 9:00 am: Registration opens for everyone
- Teams will now have coaches assigned to them, and everyone can start registering for those teams
