The National Weather Service is predicting winter weather conditions across South Central Texas and a Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Comal County and Guadalupe County to include the City of New Braunfels, until 6pm on Tuesday, Jan. 21st. Forecasters are predicting rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet with freezing temperatures overnight and the possibility of ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch along with new snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch. City of New Braunfels staff are closely monitoring weather conditions and a number of decisions have been made to ensure the safety of City staff and residents.
