TRAFFIC ALERT UPDATE 2/17: Union Pacific has informed the City of New Braunfels that their railroad maintenance project is still in progress. This means several railroad crossings in the city will remain closed for an extended period. However, the Rock Street crossing is now open. The following crossings may be closed periodically this week and next (Week of Feb. 16 and week of Feb. 23):
- Lakeview Blvd.
- N. Houston Ave.
- N. Union Ave.
- W. Torrey St.
- Hinman Island Dr.
Drivers should expect delays in the area and are encouraged to find alternate routes.

ORIGINAL TRAFFIC ALERT 2/7: Union Pacific has notified the City of New Braunfels that they will have various railroad crossing closures in New Braunfels between Tuesday, February 11, and Monday, February 17, for maintenance. Drivers are encouraged to note the following schedule and plan their routes accordingly:

- N. Houston Ave. – Closed 2/13 at 8 AM | Opens 2/17 at 4 PM
- N. Union Ave. – Closed 2/13 at 8 AM | Opens 2/17 at 4 PM
- W. Torrey St. – Closed 2/13 at 8 AM | Opens 2/17 at 4 PM
- Hinman Island Dr. – Closed from 9 AM – 5 PM
