The Murph challenge is a popular workout created in memory of Navy Lt. Michael Murphy, who died in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005.
Known as a Hero WOD (WOD = workout of the day), fitness enthusiasts and Navy SEALs complete the Murph Challenge annually on Memorial Day. And this year, we are bringing the Murph Challenge to the Das Yard on May 26th!
The workout consists of:
- Run 1 mile
- 100 pull-ups
- 200 push-ups
- 300 squats
- Run 1 mile
- May 26th
- 9:00am
- Das Yard
- Free for members
Bring a weighted vest or a workout buddy to split the reps. All fitness levels are welcome!
