This July, the City of New Braunfels Parks and Recreation Department will be celebrating National Park and Recreation Month, an initiative of the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA). This year’s theme is “Build Together, Play Together” and park systems from across the country are inviting their communities to participate.
In New Braunfels, throughout the month of July, a variety of activities are planned for residents of all ages and abilities. Here’s the schedule:

“The NRPA Gold Medal Award-winning New Braunfels Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled some amazing family-fun activities throughout the month at various parks throughout the City,” said Parks and Recreation Director Chad Donegan. “Outdoor activity is the cornerstone to staying healthy, so check the calendar, carve out some time, and come join us!”
