Beginning on Sunday, August 3rd, through Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, contractors for the City of New Braunfels will be completing operational improvements along Conrads Lane near the intersection with Goodwin Lane. This work will require nighttime closures of Conrads Lane from Goodwin Lane to the TA parking lot driveway during the following times:
- Sunday, August 3rd: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Monday, August 4th & Tuesday, August 5th: 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM
These nighttime closures are necessary to minimize impacts to nearby businesses, including the TA Travel Center, truck wash, and adjacent shops, all of which will remain open during regular daytime hours.
The scope of work includes completing full intersection improvements at Conrads and Goodwin—eliminating the need for phased construction and allowing this section of the project to be completed earlier than originally scheduled. Once finished, the new turn lanes and intersection enhancements will improve traffic flow and safety for the traveling public.
Drivers should seek alternate routes during the listed closure times and expect minimal disruption during daytime hours.
