Many City of New Braunfels facilities will be closed on Tuesday, July 4^th, 2023, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. This includes: 

• City Hall
• Municipal Court
• The Public Library
• The New Braunfels Civic & Convention Center
• Parks & Recreation administrative offices
• Solid Waste and Recycling administrative offices
• The City Recycling Center
• The Westside Community Center
• The Fischer Park Nature Education Center

 Please note: There is no change to residential and commercial garbage and recycling collection, with garbage, brush, and recycling collection remaining on their usual schedule. Das Rec will have modified hours of operation from 8am to 5pm. The Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs will be open in the morning for a tournament and will close at the conclusion of the tournament in preparation for the fireworks show that evening. 

Traffic Notice: Main Plaza and the surrounding streets will be closed beginning at 8:30am for the Sophienburg Museum’s Annual 4^th of July Parade and Patriotic Program. Those street closures will remain in place for the duration of the event until approximately 11:30am.
