The City of New Braunfels will hold an open house-style public meeting about Phase 1 of the Dry Comal Creek Trail project on Thursday, August 24th, from 6pm to 7pm at New Braunfels City Hall. This meeting will give residents a chance to review the design plans that have been made so far and to give valuable feedback on the design of the project before construction begins.
“The design for Phase 1 of the Dry Comal Creek Trail project is currently about a third of the way complete,” said Transportation and Capital Improvements Director Garry Ford. “This public open house gives residents the opportunity to review the plans so far and to tell us what they hope to see as the plans continue through the design process ahead of construction, which is expected to begin in 2025.”
The first phase of the Dry Comal Creek Trail project will construct a 10-foot concrete multi-use path along the Dry Comal Creek connecting Walnut Avenue to Landa Park, and has received design funding from the New Braunfels Economic Development Corporation (4B Board) and federal funding for construction through the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO).
Again, the open house public meeting will be held from 6pm to 7pm on Thursday, August 24th, in the Tejas Room at New Braunfels City Hall, located at 550 Landa Street.
