Traffic Alert: Drivers in downtown New Braunfels may see traffic delays due to a lane closure on North Castell Avenue. Beginning Monday March 18th through Thursday March 21st, contractors will be closing the eastbound lane of Castell Avenue between Mill Street and San Antonio Street (with a hard closure starting after the Tunnell Insurance parking lot). This work will be done during daylight hours and allows for the connection of a waterline to the NBU line located under the pavement of Castell Avenue. Flaggers will be located at each end of the project directing traffic around the lane closure. Drivers should expect delays in the area and are encouraged to find alternate routes.
