The City of New Braunfels was once again recognized with the Triple Crown Award for FY 2022 from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA). This organization advances excellence in government finance by providing best practices, professional development, resources, and practical research for more than 23,000 finance officers and the communities they serve.
GFOA’s Triple Crown Award recognizes governments who have received their Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, the Popular Annual Financial Reporting Award, and the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award. New Braunfels is one of only 356 GFOA Triple Crown Award winners in the United States and Canada for FY 2022, and one of only 34 winners in the state of Texas. This is the fourth consecutive year that the City of New Braunfels has earned the Triple Crown Award.
“These awards reflect the dedication of the entire City of New Braunfels Finance Team to provide the most accurate and transparent financial information and resources to the public,” said Director of Finance Sandy Paulos. “I am very proud of our team, their hard work, and their efforts to accomplish these goals every year.”
