The City of New Braunfels, in partnership with Gruene Shredding, is inviting residents to participate in the upcoming Shred Day event, set for Saturday, April 19th, 2025, from 8am until 12pm in the parking lot of New Braunfels City Hall.
This Shred Day event is an opportunity for residents to dispose of unwanted documents in a safe and eco-friendly way. Residents can bring up to three bank-box-sized containers of documents for shredding. All shredding will happen on-site, and recycling bins will be available for disposal of cardboard boxes. Items that cannot be accepted for shredding include:
- Spiral Notebooks
- Plastic
- Binders & Binder Clips
- Hard Drives, CD’s, or Floppy Discs
- Electronics
- Metal Objects
Again, the City of New Braunfels Shred Day event is set for Saturday, April 19th, 2025, from 8am until 12pm in the parking lot of New Braunfels City Hall, located at 550 Landa Street. Please bring your state-issued ID and a current utility bill. Vehicles should enter the City Hall parking lot from Laurel Lane and exit onto Walnut Avenue.
