On September 22nd, 2024, contractors for the City of New Braunfels will begin work repairing and resurfacing Walnut Avenue from Landa Street to Business 35.
Throughout the project the contractor, Lone Star Paving, will be shifting all traffic to either the eastbound or westbound lanes while construction work is happening in the opposite direction.
The project is expected to last approximately two weeks (weather permitting). In order to minimize traffic delays and improve safety for drivers and pedestrians, all work will happen during the overnight hours from 7:00pm to 6:30am (only on Sunday nights through Friday mornings).
