Many City of New Braunfels facilities will be closed on Thursday, November 28th, and Friday, November 29th, 2024, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. This includes:
- City Hall
- Municipal Court
- The Public Library (Main Branch and Westside Branch & Community Center)
- The Civic & Convention Center
- Parks & Recreation administrative offices
- Landa Recreation Center
- The Fischer Park Nature Education Center
- Solid Waste and Recycling administrative offices
- The City Recycling Center
Please note:
- All residential garbage and recycling collection normally scheduled for Thursday (Nov. 28) will be collected on Friday (Nov. 29).
- Both branches of the Public Library (Main Branch and Westside Branch) will have modified hours on Wednesday (Nov. 27th) from 9am to 6pm. The Westside Community Center will also have modified hours on Wednesday (Nov. 27th) from 8:30am to 6pm.
- Das Rec will have modified hours on Wednesday (Nov. 27th) from 5am to 7pm, will be closed on Thursday (Nov. 28th), and will have modified hours on Friday (Nov. 29th) from 8am to 5pm.
- The Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs will be closed on Thursday (Nov. 28th) and resume normal hours on Friday (Nov. 29th).
