Yellow Dot Program

Car rear window with a Yellow Dot Sticker on it

About

The Yellow Dot Program is a free service that helps first responders give better care in the critical moments after a car accident, especially if you're unable to communicate your medical needs. By putting a Yellow Dot sticker on your car’s rear window, you let emergency workers know to check your glove box for important medical information. This helps them provide quicker, more accurate care, especially for those with special needs or serious health conditions. The program is available to everyone in the department's service areas, regardless of age or medical background.

Please Note: This program is for residents who have a significant medical condition that could make them unable to communicate with law enforcement or first responders.

Once the form is submitted, within about a week, a staff member will call the number you provided to let you know your packet is ready for pickup. Each packet comes with a sticker, a glovebox envelope, and a pamphlet to hold your medical information.
