On Friday, May 19th, 2017, at approximately 9:55pm, the New Braunfels Police Department responded to Walgreen’s in the 1100 block of Business 35 S. for a report of a robbery.
Officers arrived and learned that two males wearing masks had entered the store and approached the cashier with weapons displayed. One male took cash out of the register while the other remained in the entryway to the store. The two then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries.
The New Braunfels Police Department Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is currently investigating the case and further details will be released as the investigation continues.
