On today’s date (12-01-17), at approximately 12:40am, the New Braunfels Police Department and the New Braunfels Fire Department were called to the 2600 block of State Highway 46 South (at Krause Lane) for reports of a motorcycle crash.
Officers arrived and found that a 43-year old New Braunfels man was traveling northbound on Highway 46 on a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he lost control of the motorcycle at the intersection with Krause Lane. No other vehicles were involved, he was the sole rider of the motorcycle, and he was not wearing a helmet. The man was transported by Airlife to SAMMC (San Antonio Military Medical Center) in critical condition.
This crash remains under investigation by the New Braunfels Police Department; however, no charges are expected to be filed at this time.
