On Feb. 10, 2019, at approximately 5:15pm, officers with the New Braunfels Police Department responded to a residence in the 2900 block of Oakdell Trail for a report of a gunshot victim. Officers arrived and found a 19-year old male from Converse inside the home suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics from the New Braunfels Fire Department then transported the victim to the San Antonio Military Medical Center where, at last check, he remained in critical condition.
Detectives with the New Braunfels Police Department then began their investigation and determined that the shooting happened following an argument between two male acquaintances. The suspect, identified as 18-year old Joshua Elijah Limon of New Braunfels, was transported to the Comal County Jail and charged with 2nd degree felony Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. As of this release bond had not yet been set.
The investigation by Detectives with the NBPD Criminal Investigations Division is ongoing and additional charges may be pending.
