The City of New Braunfels will be holding an open house-style public meeting about the Zipp Family Sports Complex on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023, from 6pm to 7pm at the New Braunfels Food Bank.
The project includes the construction of four baseball fields, four softball fields, and four soccer fields on land owned by the City at the corner of FM 1044 and Klein Road. Funding for the Zipp Family Sports Complex was approved by New Braunfels voters in the 2019 bond election, along with a substantial contribution from the New Braunfels Economic Development Corporation (NBEDC). Spawglass Construction has been selected to build the project.
“The construction plans for the project are nearly complete and the City expects to break ground on the project this Fall,” said Transportation and Capital Improvements Director Garry Ford. “This public open house gives residents the chance to review the project and the expected timeline, as well as ask questions ahead of the start of construction.”
Again, the open house-style public meeting about the Zipp Family Sports Complex is set for Tuesday, August 29th, 2023, from 6pm to 7pm at the New Braunfels Food Bank, located at 1620 South Seguin Avenue.
