The City of New Braunfels is hosting an open house-style public meeting for residents to learn more about the Comal Avenue & Faust Street Bikeway Project. That meeting is set for Thursday, November 21st, 2024, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the New Braunfels Municipal Building located at 424 South Castell Avenue.
The Comal Avenue & Faust Street Bikeway Project will add bike-related infrastructure (like pavement markings, signs, and parking adjustments) for the existing bike route on Comal Avenue and Faust Street, which connects Downtown New Braunfels and Gruene. The upcoming open house meeting will give residents and bicyclists a chance to review the recommended additions, ask questions, and provide feedback to City staff. For those that are unable to attend the meeting can find the schematics, presentations, and an online feedback tool on the City website at www.newbraunfels.gov/bikeway.
